5 Tips to Improve Your Facebook Page

  1. Make sure your profile picture represents your brand.

2. Choose an engaging yet clear cover photo.

When facebook users end up landing on your page, you want them to have a clear yet suttle idea who you are in approximetly 3 seconds. That is why your cover photo is important.

3. Complete your about section.

A misconfigured or an incomplete about  section could result in missed traffic and likes on your page. When  filling in your about section, you should certainly fill in all the fields that you can. You get 155 characters to tell people who you are, or what your company is about, but i would not recommend to use the whole limit, as you want to keep it as clear and percise as possible.

For example, this is Dennehys Gym in Douglas Cork. As you can see their about section is clear and to the point and it is appealing to the eye.


4. Work from a posting strategy.

A well planned posting strategy is one of the most important elements of a successful and great Facebook page. You could have the greatest profile picture, cover photo or about section, but if your page lacks a posting strategy, then the game is over!

I would reccomment that Facebook pages publish three types of post everyday on their pages:

  • Photo/Video
  • Text Updates
  • Links

For example, Amicus restaurant in Cork City, post very appeling posts which attracts the consumer.




 5. Answer your audiences questions.

As everyone knows, interaction on social media is key. You page would get alot more followers if people know that they can get their questions answers in a matter of minutes.  One of the top 5 reasons why people follow brands on social media is for customer service, which means providing a social media customer service is essiential.

As you can see below, the travel company jet blue are great for innteracting and answering their audiences questions.

I also go on holidays to Alicante in Spain once or twice a year as I have a holiday home over there and I enjoy going there very much.
